Primary 7s become scientists for the afternoon

In association with Queens University, Belfast, our P7s took part in a workshop entitled ‘Microbes and Me: Friend or Foe’. The workshop taught us that microbes can be good for us- or, as we have learned over the past 2 years, very harmful. Our scientists then swabbed different areas in our classroom so we can discover what mysterious microbes exist around us. Hopefully we don’t find anything too sinister in the morning when we analyse our sample trays which are heating up in the incubator overnight 🦠🦠🦠🦠.
