Our P7s had the great honour today of having a virtual zoom with esteemed author, Marita Conlon McKenna. Marita told them about her life and work and answered questions about herself, her inspiration and life as an author. The P7s have been studying The Victorians and The Famine. They have been reading ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’ as their class novel so this fitted in so well with their learning. A real treat today 😊📚📖
