Our P7 class took part in a Cinemagic Film Project in conjunction with actor Liam Neeson. One of our P7s had already met Liam Neeson so they weren’t overly star struck although we didn’t get to see much of him throughout the project unfortunately! The project involved the P7s viewing a collection of 8 short children’s ‘movies’ created by cinematographers from all over Europe. They had to score each film in relation to its cinematography, lighting, design, characterisation, plot and overall enjoyment. The hard part was then to choose an overall winning movie. There was some gentle argument and a little consternation but in the end democracy ruled!!!
