We urge our parents to join our local library in Crossmaglen. Children can then access hundreds of books via the Libby app. Many of these books will be perfect for children in P4-P7 as they can be used alongside the Accelerated Reader Programme. Our P4-7 children are currently completing their Star Test using the AR platform. This enables them to match reading material directly to their appropriate reading comprehension level. The programme has been a phenomenal success in recent years with many children reading in excess of one million words!!! There are school and class incentives for words read and quiz performance. We look forward to another successful year of reading!
