We would strongly recommend that parents take this opportunity to join the local library. This will be very helpful in the event of school closures. Once you are a member of the library you can 'borrow' e-books (this will eliminate the need to visit the public library building as it can be done through their website). The library service will also give recommendations depending on your child's age range and reading ability. Similarly, the library has a wide range of Accelerated Reader books which your child can read. In the event of school closure our KS2 children will be able to avail of AR quizzes from home through the myschool portal. You can become a member by following the instructions online.
