Dear Parents,

Industrial action will be taking place Monday 3rd June at St Brigid’s PS Glassdrummond. The school support staff, including kitchen staff, classroom assistants, supervisory staff, office staff, caretakers and EA bus drivers will not be available on this day. We fully support our colleagues demands for fairer pay and better working conditions.

The school will be open Monday 3rd with some alterations.

  • There will be no EA bus, Eamon’s yellow bus, either to or from school. The white bus will be running as normal.
  • There will be no dinners available on Monday 3rd and any children coming into school must take a pack lunch with them.
  • School gates won’t be open until 9.00am as opposed to normal time of 8.30am
  • There will be no Mini-Club on Monday and school will finish for Primary 1/2/3 children at 1.40pm.
  • There will be no one to one support for any children in the school on this day.

School will return as usual on Tuesday 4th June, if anyone has any issues or queries, please feel free to contact the school.
